Kobe Paras had a big game with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in the semifinal game of Cathedral Phantoms in the 2014 Las Vegas Prep Championship but Cathedral High School suffered their 1st loss, 80-68 against the Valley High Vikings and will not advance to the finals.

After the game, new Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach and current Talk N Text Consultant Tab Baldwin confronted Arwind Santos to let him know that the final dunk was an insult to Talk N Text since SMB already won the game. In an interview, Arwind Santos meant no disrespect to TNT but was just happy to dunk for the San Miguel Beer Fans.
