Kobe Paras wins Championship and part of All-Tournament Team

Kobe Paras who plays for the Cathedral High School Phantoms won against the Chaminade Eagles, 65-63 to win the San Fernando Valley Invitational Championship and was later named to the All-Tournament Team.

Kobe Paras scored the first 7 points of the game but was on the bench for most of the time because of foul trouble and finished with 11 points. Milan Acquuah of Cathedral made the game-winning 3-pointer.

Kobe Paras with 30 pts to lead Cathedral HS to Finals

Kobe Paras led Cathedral High School with 30 points against Alemany, 77-67 in the San Fernando Valley Invitational Semifinals. Cathedral (Phantoms) now with a 5-0 record will face Chaminade (Eagles) in the Finals on Wednesday (Philippine Time).

First Tournament of our new Gilas Coach is the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship in Wuhan, China which will give us a chance to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympics if we win the tournament.
