Team USA vs Team World NBA Rising Stars Highlights Video

Team World defeated Team USA, 121-112 in the 2015 NBA Rising Stars Challenge to start the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend in New York City. Rookie Andrew Wiggins from Canada won the Most Valuable Player Award after leading Team World with 22 points.

Team USA is composed of rookie and sophomore NBA players from the USA and Team World is composed of rookie and sophomore foreign NBA players. Team World was led by Rudy Gobert of France with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic (16 points) of Croatia, Giannis Antetokounmpo (12 points) of Greece and Gorgui Dieng (14 points) of Senegal who all played against Gilas Pilipinas in the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain played for Team World.

Cathedral Phantoms had a big victory over St Bernard Vikings, 77-44. Kobe Paras scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds for Cathedral High School.

June Mar Fajardo No. 1 in the PBA All-Star Poll!

June Mar Fajardo secured a slot as a starter in the 2015 PBA All-Star Game for the South All-Star Team after getting the most number of votes with 38,107. Greg Slaughter will team-up with Fajardo as he got 31,310 votes. Purefoods players James Yap and Mark Barroca garnered 22,937 and 15,197 votes respectively and will be start for the South Team.
