Roger Pogoy – PBA Rookie of the Year
Gilas Pilipinas player Roger Pogoy of TNT Ka Tropa won the PBA Rookie of the Year Award for the PBA 42nd Season.

Chinese-Taipei Player Pool for Asian Qualifiers
Chinese-Taipei is in Group B of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers along with Gilas Pilipinas, Japan and Australia. Gilas Pilipinas will face Chinese-Taipei on November 27 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
