After their win against Japan, Gilas Pilipinas has secured a slot in the 2nd Round of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers with a 3-1 record. 3 teams from each group will advance to the next phase, from Group B, Australia and Philippines will go to the next round while Japan and Chinese-Taipei will battle it out for the final slot in Window 3 this June/July 2018.
