The Philippines fell behind big, 16-9 with only 2:46 to go as the quartet of Bismarck Lina, Janrey Pasaol, Bryan Sajonia, and Justine Sanchez had to play catch-up from that point.

There were no surprises as powerhouse Mongolia beat the Philippine men’s 3×3 basketball team in the 19th Asian Games on Friday, 21-12 (7:37) at the Deqing Geographic Information Park in Hangzhou.
Mongolia scored the game’s first five points then raced to an 11-4 lead inside of the first four minutes to take control in the Games’ 3×3 competition.

19th Asiad: Brownlee powers Gilas past pesky Thais for 2-0 record
Gilas Pilipinas used a strong second half to pull away and fend off a pesky Thailand side, 87-72 on Thursday at the Zhejiang University Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China.
Justin Brownlee scored nine of his team-high 22 points in the third, powering Gilas in a 27-15 period.
