Batang Gilas beat China, now 3-0 in FIBA U18 Asia
Batang Gilas defeated China, 73-63 in the 2018 FIBA U18 Asian Championship in Thailand for their 3rd straight win. Sean Dave Ildefonso led Philippines with 18 points and also grabbed 7 rebounds.
Ariel John Edu with another solid game for Batang Gilas Pilipinas with 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks while Kai Sotto also with a double double – 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.
Dalph Panopio contributed 12 points including a clutch basket in the final 2 minutes of the game, Panopio also finished with 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Michael Oczon scored 11 points for Batang Gilas.
Philippines finished the Group Phase undefeated with a 3-0 record and will advance to the Quarterfinals.
