Batang Gilas beat India, will face Korea in QFs
Batang Gilas defeated India, 105-82 in their 5th game of the 2016 FIBA Asia U18 Championship in Tehran, Iran. Philippines finished the elimination round with a 2-3 record and will face South Korea in the Quarterfinals on July 29!
Jolo Mendoza led Philippines with 23 points and was 5/6 from the three-point line. Center Ken Carino who is our tallest player at 6’8 with 14 points. 6 rebounds and 6 blocks.
Gian Mamuyac and Fran Yu scored 12 points each while Joshua Sinclair contributed 9 points and 8 rebounds. John Vincent Gallego with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
