Batang Gilas lost to China, finished 4th Place
Batang Gilas lost to China, 76-57 in the Bronze Medal Game and finished 4th place in the 2018 FIBA U18 Asian Championship in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Kai Sotto led Philippines with 16 points and 8 rebounds including a couple of three-pointers. Ariel John Edu scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
Team China shot 52% from the field, 22 out of 42 and with a total of 20 assists compared to only 7 assists for Philippines.
China led by 13 points to end the 1st quarter but held Batang Gilas to just 12 points in the 2nd quarter to take a 43-26 lead.
