“Mr. Weatherman Hontiveros” got 4 threes today. But, don’t expect him to shoot threes with consistency. He was able to make it today because Hong Kong lacks height and defense. Hong Kong is just a mere doormat in FIBA competitions and is not an acid test. I know a lot of you agree that Mr. Weatherman can’t duplicate his feat today against the likes of Iran, China, South Korea, Jordan, Kazhakztan, Qatar and Taiwan. These teams have height and great defense. Don’t expect too much from him because rats are running wild inside his chest! Not to mention he ‘s got butter hands.

Don’t get over excited moron! Gilas is expected to breeze thru the 1st round of the elimination round. Hong Kong is not an acid test. It is a mere straw weight in the competition. Not much in height, defense and outside shooting! Gilas is expected to demolish them. don’t u know that? The game against Palestine was a reality check. it exposed our lack of big men and outside wingmen who can shoot threes with consistency. These can’t be remedied immediately. Don’t get too excited with this Gilas squad because you will get hurt again..soon..It’s gona be de javu all over again..promise u that..

    But not on this one:
“Don’t get too excited with this Gilas squad because you will get hurt again..soon..It’s gonna be de javu all over again..promise u that.. “We had a lot of heartbreaks but his time. Gilas has improved a lot lately

Lets be more positive. I understand that getting too excited may not be appropriate, but i believe they learned their lesson the hard way. Let’s give coach Tab Baldwin the chance to make the adjustments to Gilas’ strength which include up tempo game and ball movement. They have to consistently make perimeter shots, stay consistent and hard on defensive accountability, work hard on rebounds, and be ready to counter defensive adjustments from other teams. Expect the opposition to play zone again.
