9 Gilas Players, 4 Australians ejected in FIBA Qualifiers Game
Roger Pogoy, Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Carl Bryan Cruz, Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, Japeth Aguilar, Matthew Wright and Andray Blatche were ejected in the Gilas Pilipinas vs Australia game at the Philippine Arena in the 3rd window of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
From Australia, Nathan Sobey, Chris Goulding, Thon Maker and Daniel Kickert were ejected after a fist fight broke out with Gilas players in the 3rd quarter of the game.
The final score was 89-53 with Australia winning by default after only Baser Amer was left in the game for Gilas Pilipinas as June Mar Fajardo and Gabe Norwood intentionally got their 5th fouls.
