Congrats Gilas – Trending on Twitter Worldwide
When Gilas Pilipinas beat Senegal yesterday at the last day of the 2014 FIBA World Cup Preliminary Round, “Congrats Gilas” became a trending topic on twitter and not just in the Philippines but Worldwide.
After 40 years, Philippines won a game in the FIBA World Cup behind Jimmy Alapag, Andray Blatche and June Mar Fajardo.

Bulok ang coaching staffs specially the head coach.The team is good but poorly coached.We need to change the coaches.Dont let blatche play on crucial times buaya and got too much driblling n loosing the ball in turn. We need him only for rebounds.I think he like playing guard, Look he always like to bring the ball down when he should lrt the guards do that he needs to go down pass n wait for a pass if the guys cant shoot and if the guys shot he must be ready for a folow n loose ball.But its all the opposite he is doing and stupid choit reyes cant even reprimand him from doing it thats why you keep on seeing that repeated by blatche many times.

nanalo na at buong bansa or kahit ibang lahi nagpunyagi, eto padin may mga ilan nagmamagaling at naninisi..Pinoy tayo, Pilipinas ang nakalagay sa uniform nila..Sana nman sa mga makikitid ang utak at ung feeling magaling or nagmamagaling lang eh wag nang magsalita or mag comment..Ang unang misyon natin ay ung makuha ang respeto ng ibang teams sa FIBA ung makuha natin ang simpatya nila at pagkiklala sa atin bilang isang mahusay na koponan..tama na ang sisihan at pagmamagaling kasi kung kayo ang nasa posistion nila baka mas malalapa kayo.. tumahimik nalang at bagkus magsaya tayo sa mga appreciation sa atin sa Basketball World….
