    honestly, mahina ang smart gilas lineup na ito. pero its okay, its just an invitational tourney.

    pero sana ito ang final lineup nila para sa FIBA ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP 2013.

    PG: la tenorio, gabe norwood, jared dillinger(jared played PG position at fiba asia cup)
    SG: jeff chan, james yap, larry fonacier
    SF: arwind santos, kelly williams
    PF: junemar fajardo, japeth aguilar
    C: marcus douthit, greg slaughter

    kung ito ang lineup, malakas ang possibility na aabot tayo sa top 3, or magchampion talaga. sa lineup na ito, wala tayong problema sa height. and we can match up the bigs of powerhouse teams like china iran korea.

    GOODLUCK!

      mas ok ang line-up na to
      1G = Tenorio, Norwood, Casio
      2G = J.Yap, Caguioa, Tiu
      SF = Santos, Dillinger
      PF = Fajardo, Williams
      C = Douthit, Slaughter

        Caguiao? LOL. Pang PBA type lang yung laro niya, remember the last time he joined the Philippine Team? He did not shine at any purposes. Besides he’s too slow for the system of Chot plus he’s a SMC player. Sobrang malabo makuha siya.

      C- Marcus Douthit, Greg Slaugther
      PF- Junmar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar
      SF- Kelly Williams, Ranidel De Ocampo
      SG- James Yap, Jeff Chan, Gabe Norwood
      PG- Jarred Dellinger, Sol Mercado, Jason Castro

      I think with this team we can match with the other teams in height , speed, they can defend and shoot

    Ang nakaka-disappoint ay yung promises ng PBA na susuportahan ang Smart Gilas. Sabi nila ay hindi itatapat ang schedules ng Smart Gilas games sa PBA schedule, pero ngayon ay conflict na naman kaya kukuha na lang ng ilang players sa mga eliminated teams. Ang problema ay hindi rin nagbibigay ng players ang grupo nila Noli Eala (Petron, Ginebra, etc.). Dito sa upcoming invitational tournament, dapat ay yung totoong team na ang ipinapadala para ma-develop yung teamwork. Otherwise useless lang yung mga practice games na ito dahil papalitan din later yung mga players. Or, huwag na lang magpadala at itago na lang yung mga players para ma-surprise ang mga kalaban (tulad ng ginagawa ng ibang teams with some success – like Japan, etc.). Sabi nila, ang buhay ng Team Pilipinas ay nasa PBA players at hindi sa mga cadets, tapos ngayon balik din ulit pala tayo sa mga cadets dahil hindi nag-co-cooperate ang PBA. Nakakatamad na rin tuloy manuod ng PBA kung very protective sila sa league at balewala na sa kanila ang Team Pilipinas. Gaganahan ka pa bang manuod sa PBA league knowing na talunan tayo kahit sa Asia lang?

      nasa line up sya..yung si Isaac Holstein ba tinatanong mo? pero bangko sya sa current game dito sa Dubai. Sya lang hindi pinapasok eh…

  4. Edcabay says:

    PG: Castro, Norwood, Alapag

    Forward/Guard: Chan, David, Fonacier, Buenafe
    Yap, Lassiter, Lutz

    Center: Douthit, Fajardo, Slaughter, Aguilar

    sa line-up nato, walang bench player dito, kahit sino pwede

  5. carlo says:

    sana wag na maging makasarili ung mga pba team pahiram na ung mga dapat makapag laro s national team once in a bluue moon lang makapaghost that event
