Gilas Training Camp for FIBA WC Qualifiers starts Nov 3
According to Gilas Pilipinas Coach Chot Reyes, the Gilas Pilipinas Training Camp will start on November 3 in preparation for the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers which will start end of November 2017.
By that time, the 2017 PBA Governors Cup Finals between Meralco and Ginebra will be over and the next PBA season is scheduled to start in December after the 2 FIBA World Cup qualifying games against Japan on November 24 in Tokyo and on November 27 against Chinese-Taipei at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. No word yet on who will be invited in the Gilas Training Camp, but it might be composed of players who played in the recent FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon and SEA Games in Malaysia.
