Jamarr Johnson and Arki Wisnu made their debut for Indonesia

Naturalized player of Indonesia Jamarr Johnson and Indonesian-American Arki Wisnu made their 2017 SEABA Championship debut against Myanmar. Jamarr Johnson with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block and Arki Wisnu scored 7 points and was perfect from the field (3/3 FGs) in a big win by Indonesia against Myanmar, 123-50.

Johnson and Wisnu were not cleared to play in the 1st 4 games of Indonesia due to lack of clearance from USA Basketball stating that they did not represent USA in previous tournaments but their papers were already received by FIBA and they are now cleared to play in SEABA 2017.

Indonesia currently with a perfect 5-0 record and is set to play for the SEABA Gold tomorrow, May 18 against Gilas Pilipinas. Even without Johnson and Wisnu, Indonesia won their 1st 4 games beating Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
