“The end of our bid for a spot at the Rio Olympics will also be the end of my stint as a member of Gilas Pilipinas. For the past few years, it has been my honor to represent all of you but now it’s time to hand over the responsibility to the younger generation. Maraming salamat sa walang sawang pagsuporta niyo sa Gilas. Hindi ko makakalimutan lahat ng pinagsamahan natin. Ako si Jayson Castro William, taga Guagua, Pampanga, lumaban para sa bayan. #7 #PUSO”@jaywill_17

Yes, sayang if indeed Jayson closes the door for the national team…

Retiring at this earliest stage is showing us some doubts on the Gilas 4.0 …

When I watch Gilas 2.0 at MOA last 2013 and the Gilas 4.0 last tuesday….I really noticed a big difference…our Gilas 4.0 seems to be so silent as if it was just another day at work….The missing part was the PUSO…and the coach should embrace the PUSO if he really believes in our Players

Jayson is still good for 3-5 years and we need him to stay….I believe he will still come back given the kind of Gilas 2.0 team was formed and let’s bring back out great coaches in PBA because by Heart they knew deeply the caliber of each of our PBA Players

Let’s start believing on our players…

Thanks Sir Jayson for your full support and we hope that you come back 🙂

Idol Jayson, ikaw lang dahilan kung bakit nagising ulit ako sa PBA na manood, nakita kita noong nagsilver tayo sa gilas, noong kalaban nyo ang mga iran, sabi ko sa sarili ko may nakita nako na gusto kong player tapos noon, naging champion kayo sa commisioners cup kasama si ivan johnson, I never stopped to watch your game and then nabalitaan ko suspended si ivan noon kay narvasa dahil sa mainit na pisikalan ata yun. But then ok lang dahol ganun talaga, as for your career in gilas, wag muna sana, malaki ang contribution mo sa laro, sana magbago pa isip mo idol, kayang kaya mo pa, para sa bayan naman natin ito.. But then I respect your decision, pero sana mapagisipan mo pa ng mabuti.. More power idol!
