Mighty Sports Philippines defeated Egypt, 80-61 for their 7th straight win which assured them of the 2016 Jones Cup Title with still 1 game left. Al Thornton led Philippines with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Import Dewarick Spencer with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists while Hamady N’diaye scored 7 points and also with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mike Singletary with 11 points. Fil-Am Jason Brickman with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
Edrick Ferrer led all locals with 9 points (3 straight three-point shots in the end game)
