New Gilas Cadets Player Pool
SBP and the PBA revealed the 12 Gilas Cadets who will join the special round of the PBA rookie draft and who will be part of the Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool along with 12 players from the PBA or 1 player from each team.

-Matthew Wright
Almond Vosotros is also included in the Gilas Cadets player pool but he is already a PBA player and does not need to join the special PBA draft.
In the special PBA draft, each team will be given a chance to pick 1 Gilas Cadet player, order of the special draft will be announced soon. These 12 Gilas Cadet players can be pulled out from their PBA teams anytime.

Also whatever happened to Jordan Clarkson’s FIBA application to ply for GILAS?
I believe there is an urgent need to recruit more qualified players willing to play for Flag & Country elsewhere, even oversea. There is also a need to bring in other players willing to be naturalized to replace Dray Blatch. When he’s needed, he’s no where in sight.
