Perlas Pilipinas in Group B with South Korea, Japan & Australia – FIBA Women’s Asia Cup
Perlas Pilipinas will participate in the 2017 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup from July 23-29, 2017 in Bengaluru, India.
Philippines is in Division A Group B together with South Korea, Japan and Australia. Those in the same group will play each other once in the 1st round, no team will be eliminated after the 1st round and will advance to the quarterfinals.
In the quarterterfinals, the top team from Group A will face the lowest ranked team from Group B
A1 vs B4
A2 vs B3
A3 vs B2
A4 vs B1
The winners in the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals.
The Top 4 Teams from the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup 2017 will qualify for the 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball Cup to be held in Spain.
