Philippines now No. 27 in FIBA World Ranking

Philippines moved 1 step from No. 28 to No. 27 in the FIBA World Ranking which was updated after the 2016 Rio Olympics. Philippines is ranked No. 3 in Asia while China still at No. 1 (14 overall) and Iran at No. 2 (25 overall).

USA and Spain remained at No. 1 and 2 respectively while Serbia climbed to No. 3 after taking the Silver Medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Highest climber was Nigeria from No. 25 to 16 while Germany fell from Rank 20 to 29.
