SBP invites President Rodrigo Duterte to attend the FIBA OQT
When the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament starts on July 5, we will have a new president, Rodrigo Duterte who is also a basketball fan. SBP Executive Director Sonny Barrios went to Davao recently to personally invite President Duterte to watch Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA OQT.
We do not know yet if President Duterte will attend the games since he will be very busy in the 1st week of his presidency.
