Former Kia Import Hamady Ndiaye is included in the Senegal Player Pool for the FIBA OQT Manila. NBA Player Gorgui Dieng who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves is not included in the 14-man Player Pool of Senegal.

Senegal will play in the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament Manila but not in the same group with Gilas Pilipinas. Senegal will face Turkey and Canada in the Preliminary Round.
