mga nag laro nung Fiba Asia dapat isalang sa Fiba world sila nag-pakahirap they deserve a big break..-.-

  2. Ueno says:

yung nag pakahirap sa FIBA Asia ang dapat maglaro sa FIBA world at hindi kaiangan puro Veterans ang ipasok like Arwind Santos or James Yap basketball is all about expirience, perseverance, commitment and hardwork

  3. melanie says:

dapat lng, idagdag lng c marc barocca and greg slaughter matibay na team na yan!see the last game of Fiba asia hinihingal na ang malalaki diba.

  4. Harper says:

The competition is different in spain. We need height and youth which both of them can provide..it is so selfish on their part to decline playing for the national team. We needed to get bigger and faster.. Their reasons are full of bull! I don’t buy that crap of sending those who deserve. We should be sending the best team possible team – slaughter and lassiter included! I smell politics!

  5. JunS says:

I think the Philippines should send the country’s best players who can be effective in FIBA World. Gilas needs more speed and agility plus height & might. Coach Chot knows the strengths & weaknesses of his team so he is adjusting according to what awaits for them in FIBA World. This is a rare chance…Gilas has so much heart…
I hope the players whom Coach Chot will select will commit wholeheartedly…
    Go Gilas…Show your Gilas…God bless

of course the majority saying that na sino ang naghirap sila ang ipapadala at pangarap yun ng bawat isa, we know that everyone can play and they all great, but we need the best players possible to play for the next level, if we need new players can adjust to the chemistry of the game why not, lahat naman may PUSO para sa bansa… “LABAN PILIPINAS”

  8. sophia says:

  9. Prof. Danilo F. Mendoza says:

Iyan ang hirap ng di laking Pinas. National Coach Chot represent not just Gilas Team but the entire Nation. His selection of the players for Gilas is the people’s choice. Though there are the presence of the original Gilas 12 players, the addition is merely to supplement the team’s cohesiveness and strength and adjust in case of player injury, sickness, or failure to meet the required bar of performance. 5 to 6 months before FIBA World is a long way to go. Anything or something might happened to any of the players, hopefully not. It is true that the 12 original players deserve it but they are already compensated, rewarded, praised and emulated by their countrymen for their excellence in the last FIBA ASIA whereby the goal is to enter the top three standing placing second. This time its different, we are playing in spain for the FIBA world not for the championship but to let our rivals in the group bracket know that we are ready to give them a top game in basketball.

If Lassiter in not 100%, I think he will be in the few weeks to come and its no longer an excuse if he has that Pilipino heart. While Slaughter, can be on the reserved list just like Belga. So its not a problem for his inclusion being beyond the 12 orignal players.Perhaps it is a great opportunity to be of service to replace somebody who could no longer play for some reason or another. Hey you’ll be remembered by us and even the future generation of basketeers for your contribution in the arena of sports.

Salute to Slaughter and Lassiter..
