to japeth aguilar and marcus douthit: please bulk up on the muscle mass and power. you’re both too light for your heights in my opinion. your frames may make you good shot blockers but there’s more to interior defense than shot blocking. if you had a stronger core group and a lower body you might be able to improve your post defense since it will be hard to back up on a muscular big man. i like you two for the smart gilas team since you’re so damn tall but i just wish you could be greater and more complete defensive players. P.S. both of you please maintain a 80% or more free throw percentage. having asi taulava on the team scares the hell out of me because other teams will just foul him whenever he tries to shoot just to slow our offense. please don’t add to the risk. i firmly beleive that if the team could be a better defensive and free throw shooting team every game would at least be a close game even if you play against nba or fiba or olympic champions. go smart gilas! go for the gold! thank you!

Kaso ang competetive basketball (local or international) ay mas mahirap gawing successful kaysa sa ibang mga venture mo. Di ko ineexpect na magqualify ang gilas sa olympics dahil nagkaroon lang tayo ng Douthit at Toroman pero good luck na rin. Suggestion na lang gumawa ka ng POST THREAT AT DEFENDER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM para sa youth. Kawawa naman si Douthit kung pag tagal niya e siya pa rin sumasalo ng interior offense at defense load. Naway magkaroon tau ng kahit 3 lang na 7 footer na magagaling na big man sa future.
