Both Marcus Douthit and Andray Blatche are going to Spain for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup but only 1 will be in the 12-man line-up for Gilas Pilipinas since FIBA allows only 1 naturalized player per tournament.
Who do you think should play in the FIBA World Cup, Douthit or Blatche?

Note: 12-man Line-up in 2014 Asian Games maybe different from the 2014 FIBA World Cup and Coach Chot Reyes has the option to use Andray Blatche in the FIBA World Cup and Marcus Douthit in the Asian Games or vice versa.

Andray Blatche’s Message to the Filipino Nation
Andray Blatche is more experience as N B A PLAYER.
BLATCHE….He knows how to Dog fight with the Big boys and Bad Boys of the NBA and hope he kick ass the enemies in spain…and he can Give us the Rebounds and Defense we need and is injury proof on important games…no choking on defense and hustle…
there’s no need to vote. nakasalalay na ke coach chot kung sino yung effective para sa fiba world. para sakin ok silang dalawa kung sino lang mas effective ngayon sa camp siya yung makakapasok =)
and di naman magmmatter kung mas magaling yung isa sa isa, ang mahalaga effective siya sa team nalalabas niya yung potensial niya at yung potensial ng team niya, maganda ang chemistry nila yun ang mahalaga ngayon.
I think andrey blatche can dominate at the paint…much younger and agile.
gilas is should be lucky to be there dosent matter either player, Douthit is more proven in FIBA ball than Blatche, good luck Gilas in Spain

I think we should give Dray a shot in Spain, he is strong, agile, can shoot 3s, has penetration skills . Dray must improve his defense especially swatting balls and get some boards offensive and defesive. Marcus is a veteran, he is not selfish, I guess he can teach Dray some tips; low-post moves, swatting balls, and to be a team player.
well, si Marcus Douthit may chemistry na sa mga players ng Gilas, si Blatche eh bago palang.. 1 week palang nga silang nagsama-sama sa Miami.. mas prefer ko si Douthit.

please get jordan clarkson to play for gilas. he has filipino blood. he is a natural-born filipino citizen. under Aticle IV, section 1 of the 1987 constitution, those whose father or mother at the time of their birth are filipino citizens, are filipino citizens.
