An exciting last day of the 2015 PBA Governors Cup Elimination Round as Kia Carnival won over Meralco Bolts and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel beat NLEX Road Warriors to take the last slot in the quarterfinals. Even though Kia beat Meralco, Kia will still not advance to the next round since they are tied with Ginebra and they have a lower quotient. PBA Commissioners Cup Champions Talk N Text is also out of the quarterfinals.

Asian Imports in the 2015 PBA Governors Cup

6 out of the 12 PBA teams will be reinforced by Asian Imports under 6’3 as allowed by the PBA in the 2015 Governors Cup. This is in addition to the normal imports under 6’5 by each team except for Barako, GlobalPort, Kia and Blackwater who can hire an import with no height limit.
