Paul Lee out of Gilas Pilipinas Pool for FIBA OQT
Recent PBA Finals MVP Paul Lee is out of the Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament because of a recurring knee injury.
Paul Lee Injury Update
Paul Lee is still injured (knee injury) and has not played for Rain or Shine Elasto Painters this 2015-2016 PBA Philippine Cup. Even if has not played yet, Rain or Shine currently has a 6-2 record and other guards like Jericho Cruz and Rookie Maverick Ahanmisi has played well in his place.

Paul Lee sustained a knee injury during game vs SMB Video
Paul Lee drove to the basket and fell down holding his knee during the Rain or Shine vs San Miguel Beer game yesterday, October 21 the the Smart Araneta Coliseum. San Miguel Beermen won the game, 87-79 led by June Mar Fajardo with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Get well Andray Blatche, Jayson Castro, Paul Lee and Marc Pingris
Four Gilas Pilipinas players suffered minor injuries in the 2014 FIBA World Cup and needs rest in preparation for the 2014 Asian Games which starts September 19, 2014 in Incheon, South Korea. Gilas Pilipinas practice starts September 12 in Manila.
Although it looks like Andray Blatche will not be able to suit up for Gilas Pilipinas in the Asian Games unless the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee or IAGOC changed their position before the start of the Tournament but nothing is final yet and we hope that with the help of FIBA, we will be able to convince IAGOC to let Blatche play.
