FIBA has chosen Philippines, Serbia and Italy as hosts for the 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments to be held this July 2016. The winners of each tournament will earn a slot for the 2016 Rio Olympics!
FIBA Olympic Qualifiers Host and Draw this Jan 2016
The announcement of the 3 hosts for the 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments will be on Tuesday, January 19 (Around 11pm Manila Time) and the Draw Ceremony will be held in Switzerland on Tuesday, January 26 (11:30pm Manila Time).

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) has formally submitted to FIBA our intent to host one of the three 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments from July 4-10, 2016.
