unanimous mga nag comment for slight change ng line up, must be replaced players, para mag improve ang rotation ng players, villanueva, jr reyes, bacarael, must go. mercado (erratic ang laro, nagkakalat vs USA) rosser (hilaw pa, wala pa xperience in int’l plays) lanete (not this tine, maybe in the future PH team) pamalit na players (hoping that smc management swallow their pride and discard their greed).
    Retain
    Marcus Douthit C
    Ranidel d Ocampo F
    Gabe Norwood F/G
    Jeff Chan SG
    Gary David SG
    LA Tenorio PG
    Re-Inforced
    Arwind Santos F/G
    Jay Washingon PF/C
    Marc Pingris PF
    Jason Castro PG
    Marcio Lassiter F/G
    Kelly Willians F

Undersize si J-Wash at Center but he’s better than Sonny Thoss. LA and Jason will alternate at the point, with Gabe who can also play #1 can rotate with Jeff, Gary, Marcio and even Arwind at the 2 and 3 position. Kelly, Ranidel and Marc at 4, can help Kuya Marcus at defense and rebounds… Pretty good … hoping that the players stay focus and keep thinking.. Para sa bayan ang laban na to.

DEFINITELY THIS IS NOT OUR FINAL LINE UP FOR NEXT YEAR WORLD CUP QUALIFIER…PINGRIS,WILLIAMS AND JASON CASTRO IF HEALTHY IS DEFINITELY A SHOO-IN for the final 12 next year.Villanueva,JR Reyes,Rosser Ganuela and Thoss is a big QUestion in the final line up i recommend Fajardo or Greg Slaugther is a good reliever for douthit but i still doubt Fajardo ability for international play.so it remains to be seen if chot reyes finally tap his services or wishes to include him, as for Greg HE IS A tRUE CENTER who can rebound Well.Only Chot needs to do is to put two power forwards around him like Kelly Williams and MARK Pingris to Defend well the shaded lane once Douthit taking a rest at the bench or him at foul troubled.plus put two real shooting guards like Chan AND larry FOnacier and a brainy Pointguard like LA Tenorio.then this five can compete in one full Quarter Without DOUTHIT INSIDE.

  3. NASH U says:

chot reyes final line-up for 2012 FIBA Asia Cup is an excellent choice with an average height of 6’5″ namely:

    at centers: douthit 6’11”
    thoss 6’07”
    jr reyes 6’09”

at power forwards: r. de ocampo 6’06”
    villanueva 6’05”

    at small forwards: fonacier 6’03”
    dillinger 6’04”

    at shooting guards: david 6’03”
    chan 6’04”

    at point guards: tenorio 5’08”
    norwood 6’05”
    rosser 6’05”

    reserve: g. lanete

with this line-up, we have a couple of 6’05” point guards who can also play the 2-3 positions effectively, they can neutralized the opponents point guard by denying him the ball or restrict his passing ability. LA is superb…

thoss, villanueva and jr reyes shall train harder for their inside game both offensively and defensively and one thing they must remember charles barkley is only 6’06” but he was very effective inside even shaq o’ nell can’t intimidate him.

    thanks for the space.

  4. Fred says:

Why you dont write the complete name of USA team like the way you write other teams names? I believe are like a developmental team of some league. Is that to make us feel better that we bet the USA? Lets face the fact and not hide behind it.
