Barangay Ginebra San Miguel defeated Meralco Bolts in Game 4 of the 2016 PBA Governors Cup Finals held last October 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Japeth Aguilar led Ginebra with 19 points but it was Mark Caguioa and Jayjay Helterbrand who helped manage a comeback in the 4th quarter.
