Jimmy Alapag now a member of FIBA Players Commission
Good news for Philippine Basketball! According to a post by Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas or SBP, Jimmy Alapag was appointed by FIBA to be a member of the FIBA Players’ Commission from 2014 to 2019.

Klay Thompson record 37 points in 3rd quarter Video
Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors scored 52 points against Sacramento Kings including 37 points in the 3rd Quarter to set an NBA Record (9/9 from 3, 4/4 from 2 and 2/2 from FT line).
The previous record for most points in a quarter was 33 points made by George Gervin in 1978 and Carmelo Anthony in 2008. We need pure shooters like Klay Thompson in Gilas Pilipinas! I think only Allan Caidic in his prime can do something like this in the PBA.

Tab Baldwin to coach SEABA and SEA Games Team
Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Tab Baldwin has been tapped to also coach the SEABA and SEA Games team. The Southeast Asian Basketball Association (SEABA) Championships will be held in Singapore from April 27 to May 3, 2015 while the 2015 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) will also be held in Singapore from June 5 to 16, 2015.
