Team USA defeated Slovenia, 101-71 in a tune-up game earlier (August 27, Manila Time). Anthony Davis led USA Basketball with 18 points and teamed up with Kenneth Faried inside who scored 14 points. Zoran Dragic led Slovenia with 16 points while his brother Goran Dragic with just 6 points.
