Kobe Paras is included in the Top 10 men to watch at the 2015 FIBA 3×3 U18 World Championships to be held this week from June 4-7, 2015 in Debrecen, Hungary.

Kobe Paras is now the leader of the Philippine 3×3 U18 Team composed of Mike Nieto, Richard Escoto and Ricci Rivero after being one of the youngest to play in the 2013 FIBA 3×3 U18 World Championships. Paras is also set to defend his Slam Dunk Title that he won in 2013.

FIBA released a new video about Gilas Pilipinas and posted a question “A 6th FIBA Asia Championship title for the Philippines at #FIBAAsia2015?”

This means Philippines already won the Gold Medal in the FIBA Asia Championship 5 times, the tournament was previously called Asian Basketball Confederation (ABC) Championship and was inaugurated in Manila in 1960.

2019 FIBA World Cup will be played in Asia

According to the FIBA Executive Committee, the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be played in Asia with only two countries left as candidates, China and Philippines. Final presentation of China and Philippines will be on August 7 in Tokyo.
