After playing for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain, Andray Blatche played for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association. Andray Blatche averaged 31.1 ppg, 14.6 rpg, 5.1 apg and 2.8 spg but his team did not make the playoffs.

At halftime of the 2015 PBA All-Star Game, the PBA had a retirement ceremony for Jimmy Alapag where Talk N Text retired Jersey #3 of the Mighty Mouse.
Jimmy Alapag became emotional while giving his retirement speech. Commissioner Chito Salud, Coach Chot Reyes, LJ Moreno Alapag and Asi Taulava also made their speeches.

Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson of LA Lakers had a new career-high 25 points along with 6 assists in a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
According to some news, FIBA may modify their eligibility rules soon and this may pave way for Jordan Clarkson to be eligible to play for Gilas Pilipinas, if this happens the next question is will the Los Angeles Lakers allow him to play for Gilas.
