– Saudi Arabia defeated Palestine, 89-71
India (1) and Kazakhstan (2) will advance to the Preliminary Round.

Gilas Pilipinas players gave their support to the other Filipino Athletes in the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea.
Gilas players were at the venue where swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi participated in the 100m freestyle competition. Unfortunately, Alkhaldi did not advance to the next round.

–Kazakhstan defeated Palestine, 72-50
Top Scorer: Kolesnikov Anatoliy – 21 points
–Saudi Arabia defeated India, 73-67
Top Scorer: Fahad Alsalik Belal – 17 points
Gilas Pilipinas will face the Top Team in Group B on September 23.
According to reports, Andray Blatche will play in the China for one year. The Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers who plays at the CBL or Chinese Basketball League have signed Andray Blatche after his impressive performance in the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
