July 15, 2017 – Gilas Pilipinas lost to Canada (3D Global Sports), 90-77 in their 1st game of the 2017 Jones Cup in Taipei, Taiwan. Kiefer Ravena led Gilas with 12 points and also with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Gilas Pilipinas had a scrimmage with Phoenix Fuel Masters a few days before the start of the 2017 Jones Cup, Gilas won, 39-37.
