The world’s biggest basketball tournament is about to unfold in Manila at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, with basketball legend Luis Scola gracing the much-anticipated draw with performances by American rapper Saweetie, Sarah Geronimo, and Billy Crawford this Saturday, April 29 at the Smart Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City.
Carmelo Anthony is currently in Manila and will join Pau Gasol and Luis Scola as Global Ambassadors of the 2023 FIBA World Cup to be held in Philippines, Japan and Indonesia this August-September 2023.
USA remain undefeated while China now 0-3 in Day 5 of the 2016 Rio Olympics Basketball last August 10 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

USA defeated Australia, 98-88 for their 3rd straight win in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Carmelo Anthony led Team USA with 31 points and was 9/15 from the three-point line and became the All-Time Leading Scorer for Team USA.

USA defeated Venezuela, 113-69 led by Paul George with 20 points. Jimmy Butler with 17 points while Kevin Durant scored 16 points for Team USA. Carmelo Anthony surpassed Michael Jordan into third place on the all-time USA scoring list with 14 points.
