Gilas Pilipinas is set to go all out in their quest to defend their SEABA crown when the 2017 edition of the tournament starts on Friday, May 12 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
Led by head coach Chot Reyes, Gilas will be parading a star-studded roster in the championship featuring a good mix of veterans and newcomers.
Gilas Pilipinas Coach Chot Reyes will have 15 days to fully prepare for the 2017 SEABA Championship. The PBA Board allowed the release of the PBA players which will be chosen to play for SEABA to train for Gilas 15 days before the tournament which starts on May 12 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Gilas Pilipinas started their 3-day Training Camp in Tagaytay today, March 14 in preparation for the 2017 SEABA Championship from May 12-18.
Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Chot Reyes just announced that the Gilas Pilipinas preparation for the 2017 SEABA Championship will start with a 3-day Training Camp from March 14-16.
As posted by Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Chot Reyes, the 2017 SEABA Championship will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum from May 12-18. Cebu was considered as the host venue but organizers decided to hold it in Manila.

SBP president Al Panlilio just announced the new Gilas Pilipinas Player Pool for 2017 led by Jayson Castro, Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Japeth Aguilar and June Mar Fajardo. 1st competition will be for the 2017 SEABA Championship this April headed by Gilas Pilipinas Coach Chot Reyes.
