Gilas Pilipinas 5.0 (former Gilas Cadets) will represent Philippines in the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge from September 9-18, 2016 in Tehran, Iran.

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas or SBP is reviving the Gilas Cadets Program where amateur players will train and represent the Philippine National Basketball Team for the next 3 years.

SEABA Stankovic Cup Final Day Results

Last day of the 2016 SEABA Stankovic Cup last May 28 in Stadium 29, Bangkok, Thailand. Philippines captured the Gold Medal after beating Thailand while Singapore settled for 3rd place after beating Malaysia.
