Zhou Qi of China picked by Houston in NBA Draft
Zhou Qi of China was selected by the Houston Rockets in the 2nd Round (43rd overall) in the 2016 NBA Draft. Zhou Qi who stands at 7 feet 2 inches was part of the Chinese National Basketball Team who beat Gilas Pilipinas for the Gold Medal in the FIBA Asia Championship last year.
Golden State Warriors eliminates Houston Rockets
Congratulations Golden State Warriors – Western Conference Champions! Golden State beat Houston, 104-90 in Game 5 and won the series 4-1, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will face Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.
NBA Finals 2015 starts June 5 (Manila Time)
First it was Stephen Curry with a hard fall in Game 4 and now it was Klay Thompson who got his hard on the head.

Houston Rockets survived another day with a win over Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals Game 4 earlier. James Harden scored 45 points for the Rockets and went 7/11 from the three-point line. Golden State still leads the series 3-1.
Also in Game 4 earlier, MVP Stephen Curry fell hard on the floor in the 1st half but came back midway in the 3rd quarter and finished with 23 points.

Pacers players Chris Copeland stabbed
Chris Copeland of the Indiana Pacers was stabbed in his abdomen in a night club in New York last April 8. According to reports, Copeland is now in stable condition.

Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson made his NBA debut for the Los Angeles Lakers and contributed 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in a loss to the Houston Rockets.
Kobe Bryant led LA with 19 points and had an altercation with former teammate Dwight Howard. Lakers Rookie Julius Randle suffered a broken leg in his NBA debut. Former Rockets Jeremy Lin with 7 points and 6 assists in his 1st game with the LA Lakers.

Damian Lillard’s buzzer beater eliminates Houston Video
Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers makes a buzzer beating three-pointer to win the game and the series against the Houston Rockets. Portland wins series 4-2 and will face the winner of the San Antonio vs Dallas series.
