Jayson Castro will play for Team Philippines again, this time in a FIBA 3×3 event as replacement for LA Tenorio in the 2016 FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Team Philippines did not qualify in the quarterfinals of the 2016 FIBA 3×3 World Championships but still played well with a 2-2 record. Russel Escoto got injured in their 1st game as Mac Belo, Karl Dehesa and Glenn Khobuntin carried the team.

LA Tenorio and Kiefer Ravena to play in FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final

LA Tenorio Jayson Castro, Kiefer Ravena, Karl Dehesa and Paolo Hubalde will play in an exhibition game in the 2016 FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final from October 27-28, 2016 at the International Tennis Centre-Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Team Philippines composed of Mac Belo, Glenn Khobuntin and Karl Dehesa (Also Russel Escoto but he is injured and did not play) dominated Poland, 21-8 for their 2nd win in the 2016 FIBA 3×3 World Championships. Philippines finished 3rd place in their Group with a 2-2 record and did not qualify for the quarterfinals.
