Manny Pacquiao Officially Playing Coach of KIA
Manny Pacquiao is now officially the Playing Coach of KIA Motors after he was picked 11th overall in the 2014 PBA Draft. KIA also picked Rene Pacquiao in the 3rd round, a cousin of Manny Pacquiao.

Gilas Pilipinas Cadets Kevin Alas, Matt Ganuelas Rosser, Jake Pascual and Ronald Pascual applied for the 2014 PBA Draft. From the Gilas Pilipinas Cadets, only Garvo Lanete skipped the draft which will be held at the Robinsons Midtown Manila on August 24, 2014, 4pm.

Congressman Manny Pacquiao has agreed to be the Playing Coach of the new PBA Team, KIA Motors. But PBA Rules states that all PBA rookies must pass through the PBA Rookie draft, the problem is any PBA team can pick Pacquiao in the PBA draft. Even though we know that Iran is a very tall and strong team, Gilas Pilipinas never backed down. Philippines lost the Gold but fought valiantly against the Champions.
With the absence of Marcus Douthit, Marc Pingris, Japeth Aguilar and Jayson William took turns attacking Hamed Haddadi in the paint.
7 – Gilas Pilipinas defeating Kazakhstan by 30
It was a perfect game by Gilas Pilipinas both in offense and defense and a very big win against Kazakhstan to enter the final four. Gary David had his best game of the tournament with 22 points.
