According to Manny V. Pangilinan or MVP, FIBA made them choose between using Andray Blatche and Jordan Clarkson and the SBP and the Gilas Pilipinas Coaching Staff decided to stick with Blatche since choosing Clarkson will result in a more complicated process.

Sorry, but no, Jordan Clarkson will not be playing for Gilas Pilipinas soon.
There are only 2 ways in which Jordan Clarkson maybe able to play for Gilas Pilipinas in the future:
1. Have him naturalized just like Marcus Douthit and Andray Blatche,
Despite reports about protests from some Countries, Marcus Douthit was cleared to play for the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea which starts today, September 19.
