Yi Jianlian waived by LA Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers waived Yi Jianlian and Anthony Brown before the start of the new NBA Season. Yi Jianlian averaged 3.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in just 10.7 minutes per game in the NBA preseason.

Yi Jianlian of China was named Most Valuable Player of the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship while Jayson Castro is still part of the All-Star Five this year after being named Best Point Guard also in 2013.
China won the Gold Medal while Philippines settled for Silver and Iran captured the Bronze Medal.
