Gilas Pilipinas done with 1st practice for FIBA Asia Cup and SEA Games
Gilas Pilipinas had their 1st practice earlier (July 27) in preparation for the FIBA Asia Cup and the SEA Games this August 2017.
Gilas players who attended practice: Jayson Castro, Terrence Romeo, Carl Bryan Cruz, Roger Pogoy, Ed Daquioag, Fonzo Gotladera, Japeth Aguilar, Bobby Ray Parks, Kiefer Ravena, Matthew Wright, Jio Jalalon, Raymar Jose, Almond Vosotros, Gabe Norwood, June Mar Fajardo and Christian Standhardinger.
Carl Bryan Cruz and Christian Standhardinger were the only 2 Gilas players who are both in the line-up for SEA Games and FIBA Asia Cup.
Former Thailand Head Coach Tim Lewis who was recently fired by Thailand joined Gilas practice and gave some tips to the players.
The 2017 FIBA Asia Cup will be held from August 8-20 in Beirut, Lebanon and will be coached by Coach Chot Reyes.

The 2017 SEA Games will be held from August 20-26 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be handled by Coach Jong Uichico.
