GlobalPort Batang Pier (#5) will face Barako Bull Energy (#8) in the 2015-2016 PBA Philippine Cup Quarterfinals which starts on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena. GlobalPort with a twice-to-beat advantage.

In their lone game in the elimination round, GlobalPort beat Barako Bull in overtime, 105-91 led Terrence Romeo with 21 points / 4 assists and Stanley Pringle with 19 points / 17 rebounds / 6 assists while JC Intal with 17 points / 5 rebounds for Barako.
