Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas invited Terrence Romeo to represent Philippines in the 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup to be held from June 8-12 at the Philippine Arena.

Chooks-to-Go-backed Smart Gilas Pilipinas started their 1st training session last Monday, January 8 at the Meralco Gym featuring the current Gilas Pilipinas players who will compete in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers this February and the future Gilas Pilipinas players who will compete in the 2023 FIBA World Cup to be held in Manila.

Philippines will co-host the 2023 FIBA World Cup along with Indonesia and Japan and Coach Chot Reyes is preparing early by naming the Gilas Pilipinas player pool for 2023.
