Bobby Ray Parks and Kiefer Ravena were included in the 24-man Gilas 5.0 Player Pool but both players will be unavailable for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge this September in Iran.
Bobby Ray Parks Jr got injured in his NBA pre-draft workout with the Brooklyn Nets and required 7 stitches due to an accidental elbow to his head. Ray Parks was not able to finish his workout with the Nets but will continue his pre-draft workout with other NBA teams in the next few days.
Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach and also SEABA and SEA Games Head Coach Tab Baldwin has trimmed down the Player Pool for the SEABA Championship and SEA Games to 16 players.
