Gilas Pilipinas fans will always support them no matter what…the play between Korea today was another heartbreaking moment for us Fans, we saw our players fighting up to the very end of the game..Maybe the problem would be blamed to the coaching staff specifically Coach Chot Reyes….the same pattern game wherein it had the momentum at 1st up to the 3rd quarter and then here comes the end game still defeated…Coach Chot Reyes sana hindi ka nagtatanim ng galit sa mga player, dapat ikaw mismo ang maghahanap ng ways kung paano ganahan ng laro yong mga players…
Dapat pinalaro mo si Douthit ngayon..Naging useless ang ginawang paglalaban na payagang makapaglaro si Douthit sa Asian games….

Now I know why we always lose at the end. Hatred and pride is in the heart of the coach. A great man once said, “Pride goes before a fall.” It happens today in the game against Korea. It’s the pride of coach Chot not to field Douhit that cause us to lose in the end game. Basketball is PURE. You can’t go on with your mind and heart contaminated with anger, hatred, jealousy and other mean propensities. Coach Chot lacks adjustment also in fielding of the players. Kudos to MVP for your effort, determination, finance, time, and sacrifice! I salute you with all my heart and mind. May you be happy with your endeavor! Please look for a better coaching staff next time. You have seen and observed them ever since. To all the Gilas players, thank you very much for your great effort. You have made the Philippines known around the world. God bless you!

Lagi nalang kayong kapos…dapat talaga hanggang 2nd quarter lang ang game para manalo kayo…

  6. Talagang bulok let them just plant camote bring them home its a waste of taxpayers money for their trip disband the GILAS team. From the inutil na coach to vthe players they all sucks.

  7. It’s time for Reyes to resign and let Tim Cone to do a coaching we are ashamed
    the way you coached

  8. Pacman says:

Bottom line, gilas may need re evaluation both line up and coaching staff. Im trying to stay positive but with coach chot’ taking a shot at one player to the media, its uncalled for. 1. Get a player than can create his own shot especially during crunch time. 2. Consider rebuiling the coaching staff. 3. Develop younger players and plan for long term commitment to the team. 4. Scout young fil-ams here in the U.S. Hoping they will commit to gilas long term (you may need money or solid sponsorship for that). Its really frustrating. I am really hoping for our bayan to qualify in the olympics.

  9. Pacman says:

Players to consider for FIBA asia next year: Castro, Norwood, Pingris, Fajardo, Aguilar, Tenorio, Dilinger, de Ocampo, Blatche. Rosales- point guard, clarkson of LAL, kobe Paras, Parks, Ravena. May include spot up shooters from the PBA who can defend the perimeter to upgrade or replace Jeff Chan. And more big men from the PBA that is not afraid to do blue collar job on defense. Make them earn their spot. Go for training pool and select the players that fit to system. Btw, Paul Lee can still try out once again.
