hindi oobra kung puro hustle lang. basketball po ito. height is might. more playing time po sana sa mga big guys natin, hindi puro pingris at noorwood. sayang 25+ mins pero minimal ang contribution.

Defense was great, that’s why the low scoring game. But there was no offense. It’s all blatche scoring. Asan na ang mga gunners natin? Naging nagbabagang upuan ang nag babagang kamay.

i saw pingris hw he played he deserve the playing time, hes really gud in defence then he cn also fight 4 d rebound.. bonus na ung nka2 iskor xa, hes the toughfest big man of smart gilas aside 4 blatch.. npanood q game nla against croatia lumau agd s 21-5 kht na anjn c aguilar, mgnda reach ni aguilar bt he cnt post up lyk wat ping did.. bt its true i go 4 aguilar than ranidel, aguilar is bettr in outside plays and he cn provide shotblocks., bottom line preho cla kelangan s loob.. mgndang tandem ung reach defense ni aguilar and tight defense ni ping! ang mli s play ni chot pra sken hah wag msamain its jst my own perception, he go for 3 guards.. mgndang plano gmitan ng blis bt the european players are also quick aside 4 being tall’ dpt nsa2byan dn cla s blis at tangkad then that can aguilar provide 4 gilas…. im a pro gilas not 4 individual players!

okay yan de ocampo pingris ang siste hundi marunong mag adjust c Chot on the spot, pinagpipilitan yung tatlong maliit na 6ft and below…ang akala nya asian games pa rin ang laro…lam mo gamitin lng todo c aguilar mananalo yam team n yan kasi mayron tayong second chance point at offensive rebound at makakablock ng mga seven footer yan kahit paano may threat sa ilalaim…adjustment lng ang kailangan dyan…

Still proud of what gilas team has achieved… its not all winning that makes a team great… its the attitude, team work and camaraderie of players to put up a gallant fight despite being an underdog… especially, in basketball’s biggest stage… go gilas!
if we need height why don’t we utilize Japeth Aguilar. He has lenght that can match the opposing team. Not to mention an mabilis din at malakas tumalon. Kung hindi papalaruin hindi masasanay si Japeth sa international game. Kita naman na masyado tayo maliit tapos ayaw pa gamitin sila Fajardo at Aguilar ng maayos. Just my thoughts!
Japeth showed some fear in using his height and body, looked too soft against the opposing big men. Pingris showed toghness and confidence using a lot of hustle being undersized. Besides Norwood has better ball handling and athletecism in the 3 spot to have a chance for a better ball movement. And Norwood is not really short. Lets face it kababayans, even with 3 big men with less mobility you cannot outscore those bigger and most experienced, athletic and talented Greeks and Croatians. Better ball movement and spot up threes yes we have a better chance. I still commend coach Chot for his overall coaching performance. This is the system that they have developed during practices. Remember guys so far I believe, Gilas Pilipinas is over achieving.
